SA213 T12 Tubes


 

ASTM SA213 T12 Tubes are made of seamless ferritic low alloy steel and are used for boiler elements and heat exchangers. SA213 T12 tubes is under the UNS designation K11597. There are two types of SA213 T12 tubes steel: HF (hot finished) and CD (cold drawn), and all types must be tempered. It has a Rockwell B hardness of 85 HRB (Hardness Rating) and is in the P4 group of hardness.


This product has a minimum tensile strength of 415 MPA, according to its certification. There is a minimum yield strength mentioned in the SA213 T12 specification of 110 MPA. In order to be compliant with SA213 T12 tubes a minimum Elongation Percentage of 30 is required. According to ASTM SA213 T12 tubes standards, tubes with a wall hardness of 117.2 or 163
